I don’t have a whole lot to say about this issue, except that I find it intriguing that Magneto has surrendered to S.H.I.E.L.D. This is definitely a set-up issue, beginning a new chapter in the saga. I have no idea what the writers are planning, but something inside me tells me that it is going to be interesting. I generally trust my gut instincts—they are usually correct. If I were a betting man, I’d wager that Magneto is planning something and allowing himself to be captured by S.H.I.E.L.D. is part of that plan. I guess we will find out more as the story unfolds. Stay tuned.
I wouldn’t have known who Magneto was a few years ago, but then my kids got a game with Superheros in it…so now I’m informed!
Ha Ha! Yeah, I learn a lot from my kids, particularly regarding popular culture. It’s cool that you play games with your kids. I also love playing games with mine. Keeps me feeling young. Cheers!
Haha! Well they are mostly teenagers now, so that game hasn’t been out in awhile!
My oldest is in college and my youngest is a teen. We still play games when we get together.
Man, I want to get my hands on this series so badly!!! :O
Hi Alex. I don’t blame you. This is very very good. My guess is they will probably publish a combined trade version. Might be the way to go.
Yeah… I’m always up for bound omnibuses. Hahaha. Also I can’t justify any hard copy purchases right now since we’re moving to Canada in a year. 😮
I totally understand. Moving is difficult, and moving boxes of books makes it harder 😉
I should be getting an omnibus soon that I am most excited about. Neil Gaiman did a 3 issue Alice Cooper series that was amazing. I have them all. But my friends who own the local comic store said they could get me a limited edition omnibus which is enlarged table top size, includes storyboards and letters between Neil and Alice, and is autographed by Gaiman, Cooper, and the artist (can’t recall his name right now). Should be here next week!!
Wow! Nice!!!
