I don’t have a whole lot to say about this issue. It was good, I enjoyed reading it, the artwork was vivid, and it moved the story forward, but there wasn’t a whole lot of nuance to explore on a deeper level in a post. It did touch on the Nazi/occult connection, which I have always found fascinating, but is nothing new in the Hellboy saga. The next issue concludes the five-issue miniseries, so I am curious how the writers will tie everything up. I suspect Issue #5 will provide more to expound upon.
Thanks for stopping by, and keep on flipping pages.
I love this modern trend for more impressionistic comic art. It’s part of the reason I want to go back and read more comics. Soon!!
Hmm. I had not made the connection between impressionism and current comic art, but you are certainly right. Great observation!
