RIP Greg Lake

I was saddened to read about the death of Greg Lake. He was a real inspiration for me musically, and how tragic that he and bandmate Keith Emerson both died in the same year. 2016 has been crappy for musicians, writers, and actors across the board.

Anyway, here is a link to a post about the last time I saw Lake and got to meet him after the show, hence the autographed copy of Brain Salad Surgery.

  1. I don’t know, Jeff. Maybe they’re happier now. Depends on how you look at it. Didn’t Shakespeare or someone write about being freed from the “surly bonds” of Earth?
